A particpatory element of my installation, 'Theatre of the River' at Cementa 24, 19th - 22nd September 2024. Up cycled clothing re presented as art and theatrical costumes, inviting everyone to wear the river costumes around the town of Kandos for the Cementa 24 Festival. Becoming collaborative actors and active participants of the Theatre of the River. Representing the river running free, no longer restricted by industry and the local weirs and dams that once supported Kando's cement factory. The river now returns to an ecological path, beyond the man made structures to expand and saturate into the water table, as part of regenerative farming practices of sustainability.
