'Shrine to the River', up-cycled textiles, acrylic fabric paint, stitching, cotton thread,  hand built stoneware ceramic vessels with glaze, 200 x 154 x 70 cm, 2025

A painterly approach to both textile and ceramics, assembled and collaged textiles and multiple layering of glaze firings echo the calligraphic mark. Evoking a theatrical stage setting, the textile as costume or vestment and ceramic vessels as offerings or actors on a stage are homage to the rivers ecological importance.
